Nearly 50 years ago, Project Apollo answered the nation's challenge to land men on the moon and return them safely to Earth. This became the first extraterrestrial event for mankind. It still ranks as one of the greatest technical achievements in history, yet is often misunderstood today. Dan Schneider, one of Project Apollo's principal aerospace engineers, along with Dr. Deena Fisher, Professor of History at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, will present a behind-the-scenes look at the Apollo program from a historical perspective.
