The Beavers Bend Folk Festival & Craft Show offers visitors a rare occasion for multi-generations to gather, slow down and enjoy the old-fashioned way of life that no longer exists in our technology, television, video game driven world. It offers a time for visitors to examine their past and reflect on how those principles define them as individuals.

Approximately 70 exhibitors and vendors feature crafts and skills such as candle making, woodturning, lye soap making, knife making, paper making and blacksmithing. There will also be herbalists, weavers, spinners, quilting demonstrations, children's activities and a smorgasbord of food. Throughout the three-day festival, folk ensembles set the mood with the twang of banjos, the wail of fiddles and the ring of dulcimer strings as they perform a variety of old time folk selections, gospel and Scottish American music passed down through the generations.
