To celebrate Black History Month and the Civil War Sesquicentennial, the Oklahoma History Center invites you to attend Harriet Tubman Live. With an evening performance on February 21st and an afternoon matinee on February 22nd, these programs provide an entertaining and educational way of exploring slavery, race, and the ideal of freedom from the mid-nineteenth century perspective. Using first person interpretation of Harriet Tubman's life as the platform, the programs will provide insight and understanding on the role one woman played in shaping history and how her life was impacted by the events as they unfolded. The event schedule is as follows:

February 21 - Evening program begins at 7pm. Museum will open its doors at 6pm with a portion of the galleries available for viewing before the program.

February 22 - Afternoon matinee begins at 2pm.

These events are free and open to the public.
