On February 23rd, Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Natasha Trethewey will participate in a public conversation entitled, "Poetry and Memory." Trethewey will address the intersections and contentions between personal and public memory; cultural memory and collective history; and notions of voice and authority. Questions from the audience are welcomed.

On February 24th, Professor Trethewey will give a public reading of her poetry, including poems from her Pulitzer Prize-winning volume Native Guard.
