Dr. Foy Scalf from the Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago will discuss the forensic reconstruction of the face of Tutu the mummy, funded in part by a grant from Oklahoma Humanities. Dr. Scalf will speak about funerary practices in ancient Egypt at the museum's unveiling of the reconstruction of the mummy's head.

On November 2 the museum will host a free family day with activities and exhibitions focusing on ancient Egypt and the story of Tutu the mummy.
