Spring | Summer 2018 TRUTH
Published May 1, 2018
Truth, about almost any subject, seems harder to find, and it’s not a new phenomenon. As authors in this issue tell us, American history is filled with people and industries that have “massaged” the truth to advantage. We’ll explore the role of investigative journalism in our democracy, ways to discern the truth amid “alternate facts” and “fake news,” and the variety of ways we express, stretch, sometimes abandon, yet utterly long for truth.
Authors and contributors: Carl Bernstein, Dick Pryor, Dr. Philip Patterson, Ralph Keyes, Hannibal B. Johnson, Christopher Keller, Mark Hanebutt, Dr. Tom Nichols, Dr. Darryl Tippens, and Diane Levesque.
